        ## Installation

        You can install using `pip`:

        ```bash
        pip install sanddance
        ```

        If you use jupyterlab:

        ```bash
        jupyter labextension install @msrvida/sanddance-jupyter-widget
        jupyter labextension install @jupyter-widgets/jupyterlab-manager
        ```

        If you are using Jupyter Notebook 5.2 or earlier, you may also need to enable
        the nbextension:
        ```bash
        jupyter nbextension install --sys-prefix --symlink --overwrite --py sanddance
        jupyter nbextension enable --py --sys-prefix sanddance
        ```

        Or you can install with `conda` instead of `pip`

        ```bash
        conda install sanddance
        ```
